Way beond the skyline
lies the answers in my mind
of what I know I need
and who i need to find

searching though the darkness
the clouds of endlessness
I raise above them only a second
and freedom I posses

a flightless flight
of a dreamless dreamer
silence louder then all
where the pure become cleaner

no heaven
no hell
no speaking
no tell

I fly to thee in endless flight
on my journeys end
above the lightness in the night
when I last saw my friend

always waiting for her
never again do I see
the lost soul of my best friend
please return to me

she is gone away
on a dreamless, flightless night
so for now my soul stops searching
until I can make it right

love like you will never be hurt

let me give you a little background on this writing to help better understand. My best friend past away 6/8/00 and we were like sisters. She died after have a gastric bypass that went wrong. We always said that if one of us died we would meet in the place where life ends and dreams begin, like the moment you have right before you fall asleep. She was and still is my best friend and I miss her more everyday. Thanks Shannon Marie

Man do i know how you feel. I too did have a best friend that died. He had got hit by hit and run. The thing was that I was on the phone with him when it happened, plus in another state. I never really had enough money to get to the funeral. So i never really got to say good-bye, and I'm sorry. see that night we were fighting about the stupidest thing ever and it was mostly my problem not his. I just hope he knows that I loved him and I will never stop loving him.

I thought your poem was really good. Even though I'm a couple years back in poems, I hope to see more from you soon.
