some where deep in the shadows

I have said it many times,
I thought you felt it too.
I hate you, is all you say
I hate that you feel that way!
I ponder this, as I look down
The barrel of my gun.
The only thing I’ve missed
Is the joy of one sweet kiss!
My finger then tenses,
Feeling the end with all my senses.
The shadows speak,
I’m at my peak
“It’s better to burn out
Then to slowly fade”
The great man said once
It’s so true
Why does a gun seem so harmless?
When really it’s so heartless!
All this in one instant
One moment, that’s all it took.
To tear my world down!

There is no peace among the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of thirsting gods

oooh, this is very true...all it takes is one attempt to ruin everything...keep the faith, life has a brighter side. gr8 job. =)

A river of change is rushing over me, through me. Forfeit to the waters, forget the past, live in the present.

well, this made an impact. um...all I can say is life is worth living in order to find the one who will love you forever. Powerful poem. I also liked how the title was "I love you" but you don't mention the word love at all in your poem, that was a refreshing surprise.
