If only there was a way
to tell you.
If only there was a way.
How much I wish I could touch you
and hear the words I wanted you to say.
You told me to be on my way,
The pit of my stomach was the voice,
that told the cost I'd have to pay.
Words will never tell, and neither will tears
the grief my heart felt when I knew
I'd never see you for all my years.
There are no words I can find,
I haven't to this day.
You left me with no comfort,
nothing to hold on to.
Never in these years
that have gone by
have I ever found the words
to describe how crushed was I.
My spirit lost it's life within
Your were my soul, my blood
My joy, my everything
to me, life you did bring.
What happened to me
has left it's mark
Just for your touch, your smile I long.
Something sacred was lost that day
God's hand was on us and then
Something snatched us
from each other's arms
placed in your heart
no more
your boyish charm,
but instead your wish for my harm.
I had no comfort, you were gone
there was no hope to hold on to.
When there's nothing left
What was I supposed to do?
You were my strength, you were my joy
I wish I could hold you,
and feel you in my arms
Lose the hurt, and pain,
and again feel your boyish charms,
but sacred things
were stolen, we were both robbed,
and for that I lost my will,,
My spirit has sunken so deep,
for what am I supposed to live?
My souls eyes weep,
There is no love.
What can I give?

Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!

back to you girlie. If only I could get inside your mind, or rub an elbow I would really be able to express it!!!! I love reading you, but I don't see you much anymore. You are muchly missed. :'(

blackhalo-- While I thank you for your words, at the same time I feel so bad that you have had to experience this. All of us have had a love that's fallen apart at one time or another, but usually the two part ways and go about their way. I hope this was the case for you, because when one drags it on, and on it's salt to the wound. I have to wonder, why, a person would want that? I am so in hopes that was not your case. Very deliberate, and painful acts to go through. Hugs
