If we thought of raindrops as truly they might be,
Not as condition of weather, physics or chemistry,
But as baptismal water for the hungry Earth to drink,
With its elemental makeup the same wherever it's received,
We'd see that rain unites us much like liquid manna
Which sustains and nourishes all humanity.

If we could think of quiet grace as the rain from heav'n above,
The fluid manna which sustains and nourishes us
Like raindrops do the Earth --
Perhaps that would be enough.
But to know that we are thirsty
And to feel this
reign pour down,
Let it soak in, grow and blossom,
That is the real baptism.

* * * * * * * * * * *

A snowflake is to a blanket of snow
As each one of us is to humanity.
Each one of us being created
So wonderfully unique like the snowflake --
Oh, that we could work together like that crystal play
To enchance the Earth with such beauty,
Then melt away
Quietly in the golden sunshine.

Not as condition of weather, physics or chemistry,

any man who tells me about the phsics of it all, isnt worthy of a walk in the rain with this girl

(smiles) Yay! Awwwwwwww, I love all of Mother Nature's miracles and believe the rain are tears of angels and God of crystal that purify the grass and trees and soils and make life possible and the snow is a blanket to make it all comfortable! (kiss on cheek) Yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jo, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Beautifully written Iliana....yet, for some
reason I feel our destiny is formed by the
struggles we endure.

Magnus -- I can't argue with that -- I believe that as well.  The snow part of the poem was a wish for the end result (I guess) more than anything else, recognizing of course, that we are one humanity.  I appreciated your perspective and thank you for your comment.
