You came to me on air
Flavoured with mint sauce

I looked into your eyes
You were the main course

I loved your very feel
As you circled on my feet

Laying napkins down
Knife and fork to meet

Two nights
you came to me
Sparkling as the stars

And then you served to me
Spinach, cheese and mars

We talked about the ballet
I drew your every breath

On the wall upstairs
Above the firey heath

Dave
