Listening to every heart

0 posted 2004-01-22 08:52 PM

Tears, Slipping

I sit in quiet, in loving dwell
in light of love, in quiet swell
of tears that threaten to spill to earth,
capturing words from hearts re-birthed.

Here in my hands, I sit and reflect
upon those lives in circumspect,
for in dedication I see lines
that have, with mine, been entwined.

I hold a book, so full of heart,
that one man’s vision would impart
a beginning of hope, with no end
a circle of poets, a home for friends.

~*~

Thank you once again, Ron,
For Reflections, and for
All that you have made possible
To so many who have been in search.

Exactly how I feel Karilea when I hold my Reflections book gingerly in my hands..
reading the words of those I have grown to know..and yes, some to love.
I felt such pride today showing my daughter..
and even more pride in hearing my granddaughter of eleven is writing also..
And, if I am rambling..sobeit..I love this place..
and thank you once again dear Ron.
~Hugs & Smiles to you sweet Karilea..and all those I have met,
and have yet to meet, here on the pages of blue, Nancy~

I read what you said in another thread about your granddaughter and a copy of the book.  Lots of "moments" have come to us as a result of Ron and Pip.  I hope he realizes our gratitude.  This is touching and heartfelt Kari...

It's been a joy to hold Reflections in my hands!!!  I like seeing my poetry in the book but, what makes it doubly special is that the pages are shared with my fellow poets and my friends!!!  I've shown the book off to some people at work and even invited one of them to visit our circle.  Reading your poem Karilea makes me realize that many people are enjoying the book as much as I am!!!!  Very nice piece of poetry dear poetess!!!!

And Ron Thank You once again you're a sweetie!!!!

It, as are your words....are a most beautiful
thing for all to hold and place among those
things they cherish.

Thanx KJ,  for the words.
