-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Im squeezing their testicles through my fingers, hands that sculpt with love in another room, of this paradox that rings me more and more i'm all eyes, as they pour thru the same child that waves to them on a country road, and moos to them, laughing, somewhere in a field of daisies they run free, my spirit beside them, if only in intervals between the drugery consumming me lately, mother to mother, i apologize, there but for the grace of god, go I, go my own son, l7 ready to traipse on the world that will awaken to his brilliance come september when he abandons me, his old mama, this was once another mother's son,i wear his shadow now, i am sorry, my soul sister.... my keeper made me cook meatballs tonight. |
