On the edge of forever

The whispers of the night
call me forth,
beckon me
to leave my sanctuary…
with promises of
dreams coming true,
illusions being real.

I peek out…
quaking with
the enormity of it all.
I venture forth…
one trembling step
after another.

And there…
in the mists of time,
in a land
all but forgotten
by mortal mind…
I see my journey’s end.
I find my reason for being.

I give You my heart…
and You…
You offer me
Your soul.

This I know as Truth...we are all Beings of Light.
