DISTANT THUNDER

It’s not the silence

that frightens me

nor the storm of my emotions

or my frozen tears

but the rolling sound

of a distant thunder

forming the words

the end!!!

Oh yes, you convey the feelings here powerfully. But every end calls forth a new beginning.

Yes, sometimes ends can go on forever.
Well done.
