Gordon Lightfoot's "Minstrel of the Dawn" in my mind and I need to acknowledge that, plus many other words

Singing his words of freedom paid
He dances the words you will never hear
They stay inside
For words said
Oft do words
Say
Dear

He dances a song
From a loch locked land
Of spirited eyes
In an lowland strand
Eyes that he
Had he more sense
Would consider
Adequate
In his sense
Of freedom
As he struts along
He dances well
Withing his song

Skipping over greasy cobbles
Skating on slippery stones
Spinning past the alleys
He find friends of the moment
They slide over life
Upon the street
They play it neat
They play it sweet

On into Autumns turn
Freezing bones
Food he yearns
Voice
No one hear's sound
But the gentle
Words
Of a drunk

I couldn't agree more. This is a wonderful work.
