standing on a shadow's lace

Vertigo

once again
I am helplessly
face first
out of control
spiraling to
a place
I can not stop
by surprise
I saw
your face
and my mind
turned too fast
and in a spin
of emotions
knees gave way
I fell
clutching at
nail breaking walls
in echoes of
screaming silence
unable to judge
the distance
powerless to stop
my heart in flip
and I
went down

Here to offer you a hand back up, and a hug to keep you on your feet.

Be well, I pray, lady.

1 slick_lady,
Vertigo doesn't seem like a comfortable place to be; I enjoyed this poem very, very much.  I can relate it to my terrible sense of direction with two teenagers in the car and lost with a blaring radio, rain and darkness.
   Well expressed.  Take care,
              ~Sadelite~

I like the style, you have direction, vision and a sense of where you are going with your words

Yes I liked it

I do hope the vertigo passes soon Helen.
In the meantime...positive thoughts go out to you.
Hugs~

Helen -- oh, do I know this feeling all too well.  So much emotion cannot be contained.  Beautiful write.
