We happened upon the same place
in a strange way
after the storm passed
landing on the same side of the fence
that seems familiar
more comfortable than before
there are no warm embraces
or terms of endearment
no staking claims
but our arms are still open
our sleeves worn and weary
and I know without asking
there is a fire inside
burning warm in the winter
resting assured
life revolves around the seasons
for no other reason than this~

This is good to see, my friend. Everyone needs it, and I'm glad to see what I see in this poem.

You're an excellent writer, blues or not. Keep it up!

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, and remember always that in the winter there are rainbows that can be seen through the morning lights and prisms of the icicles! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Hey Bluesy girl,
You just keep writing excellent stuff I see. Miss you and still love your writing. It's nice to see your pretty smile. And I love seeing you in print.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
