The In-between

What we were and what we are
Is a bird of lives bizarre
Each a moment born a scene
And lost to us the in-between

There is no point of true begin
Or if there is it’s much too thin
It starts within a vague insist
And dies within the vague of mist

I cannot pin the point of true
It stays with me like newborn dew
But newborn dew is the prime
The beginning and end of time

And so I too, a points insist
Will disappear into the mist
And cannot say the I or were
The in-between is all a blur

And laughter is my jet of hub
Escape past old Beelzebub

Dear Seymour, I love this and especially

It stays with me like newborn dew

To life and love there is no end and no beginning I think, it just IS, but we are stuck to our earthly views. Never mind the mist, it always dissolves.

Yes let's escape past the Beelzebub!

Have a wonderful Sunday.
Love, Margherita

thats cuz ole Beelzebub cant keep up with Randy.
Your poetry is the insist that will carry you beyond the mist. Get my gist? LOL

How foolish must man be, not to be impressed by mountains and trees
not to be brought to his knees by the beauty of the sky and sea

Much to ponder here, Sy...  Seems everything's a paradox, ultimately, and laughter is the one thing (except for faith, maybe?) that keeps us "sane"...
