state of marital bliss

MOVED!
I was moved!
Unbeknownst to me,
The poem I wrote this morning
was mistaken as risky.

Kindly it was stated
that my poem fits the decorum
where eyes wander recklessly
to the Mature Content's Insights forum.

I read my poem again & laughed,
"Tell me it isn't so!"
that this moderator read my words
and thought it about my libido!

ROTFL!

Just when I needed one,
this laugh did come to light.
Below is my poem re-worded,
because I want to get this right:

Stress Induced(12-23-22)

Seasoned as pulled and dehydrated cattle meat
Your affectionate attention to me makes my myocardial functions irregular
causing unusual palpitations, altering normal circulatory patterns

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes art

I had one disappear because it was about a colour man's roots and I was referring to his background and home

Another went because I wrote in English English was Gas is something we use for cooking and a Geyser is slang for a guy as well as for heating water

I now remember not to write in London slang although the "Carryon Films" are now taking off in the US but I wonder what Americans make off Mark Anthony telling Cleopatra to get Caesar on his "tod" - tod being slang for "tod sloane" meaning "own".

Glad everyone's laughing like me.  What an amusing thing, the way we can ingest words so differently.

Dave~ You, too?  So it's not such an uncommon practice, then.  I'm quite flattered that someone thought I was being edgy, because I certainly couldn't be if I tried!

Must've been the screws!
This is one of those times,
when you just gotta laugh
and bite the beef!
