There Is A Light In The Window ~*Marge Tindal*~  There is a light in the window that greets me on the new dawn Bids me throw off the coverlet of my comfort of yawn~ There is a light that invites me to romp the grasses wet with dew A light that beckons me play across the meadows’ soft hue~ There is a light that pulls me forward into this fair day A light so bright as to take me through to the twi-of-night soft in replay~ There is a nightlight in the Heavens that shines with such delicate rays Saying to me … day is now history Close your eyes … I promise I’ll stay until the dawn once again beckons your smile into rising to this circle of friends as the day brings these pages blue into your view once again~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
