Is hate a refection of man
Or is man a reflection of hate
Born within the walls of hells gate
As children sing life to an empty plate

Cobwebbed eyelids lye beneath a tired mask
As the fast fall in the race of the last
Lost in answers known as why
As the living live in the name of my

A dark poem, indeed, but I think you are right that "my" is the biggest problem this world has today -- we forget our humanity and selflessness seems only for saints.  But there are those and you'll see them here who are rays of sunshine!  Welcome to Passions.

Welcome to Passions,,,
Fast or slow, hate of,,,or from man,,,
all succumb in the end

Dreary, teary, from those cobweb eyes. cobweb eyes, that is interesting and grotesque and perfect in this piece.

Welcome to Passions!

(big angel hugs) This is a dark but heartfelt debut, sweet friend, I believe we humans are the most evil of God's creatures, yet it is up to us, up to my, to shape the humanities of the world and if we can turn for the better we can seek salvation! God Bless You! Welcome to Passions, sweet Ben, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your wonderful words, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ben, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I like your poem!
Welcome to passions...
even though I myself have just recently kicked off my shoes!
