All alone in the dark
she sits with
a cigarette burning
thinking of someone
she misses.
His words made her
smile,laugh and cry.

All alone in the dark
with a cigarette burning,
remembering things they
did together.
The quiet moments,
whispers shared.

All alone in the dark
she sits with a
cigarette burning,
her heart aching endlessly

This is really good. Thank you for sharing.
P.S. Candles are almost as pretty lit as a cigarette;-)

Nice emotions

I suppose we should write PC poems these days

I never got the hang of being correct I just treated people with respect

I like this, it is the kind of words that gently move beneath your skin

froggy -- I know the feeling; I've been there as well.  Thanks for your poem.  But, you are not alone here now.
