Sheets of White

I sail a ship with sheets of white
Guided by a star at night
And there along the Milky Way
I pick a mind of dreams bouquet

Among the fields of Eden’s green
I build my castle from the glean
Bridge a rainbow to the door
Above the mot of sorrows floor

And there flies me the dove of peace
Perched a velvet dream of lease
Poignant as a desert flower
Giving me a sense of power

Living in this wile of mind
I shed the shackles of the blind
Cast my dreams of psyche roams
To butterflies or lovely poems

It is a place of spirits weave
The key of turn is just believe

For I would wile with tinkerbell
to see your smile and sense the smell
of magic beams and wondrous dreams
and a dragon's logic, so it seems...

Smiling with you on this lovely [vacation day] Friday, Sy!

Such a whimsical read this morning Sy..
made me feel like climbing back under the duvet and dreaming a little more.
Wonderful soft touch to this lovely piece.

Nancy,
Thank you dear and I'll be right over for tea.

JM,
And I'm glad of what you do too. Hows the computer search going. I should have sent myself instead of Randy he gets all the goodies. Miss ya Tink.

I really like this one, Sy -- it's rich with re-reads.  May those sheets always remain full of inspiration...

There is no other that can fill these sheets with whimsy as you do sweet friend, and this was no exception.

Sy,
And... you send it our way!  I could read your poetry all day... Have you published it in a book?  If so, do tell... I know I purchase a copy or two or three to give to friends!
