Lost in thought

Went back again today…
Yeah,
I promised you I wouldn’t
And made intentions clear
Not to see the walls
Too clean
To call them sterile.

But you’ve been
Gone awhile now.
I begged you not to,
But you broke
Your promise too…
Said you’d always love me.

Been angry,
And to spite your death today
I said I loved you
Where it was…

Begged another one
Who hates me,
To make it,
Like you never did.

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

Not sure what to say.  I don't know the situation behind this poem, but the poem gives the main idea and I can definitely see the pain and feel the raw emotions.  Amazingly and beautifully written.  So not overdone at all - deep and simple.

iliana,
its sad how sometimes the only way to open a window is for it to be shattered... but nevertheless, thank you much for your reply

Kirstin,
thank you... it really wasn't that good of a poem by any poetic standards... but all truth. Again, thanks

Ethel,
...You're so sweet thank you...

Endlessecho,
it'd take forever to tell the story behind it, but yes, the emotions are raw and it is all said in truth from my heart. I still don't see it as much of a poetic feat, but thank you for your kind reply

Always, Alyssa

(big angel hugs) Oh Alyssa, my heart goes out to you, dearest friend, I wish for your heart to be filled with many stained glass windows of blessings that can never be shattered, sweet friend, know we all think the most of you, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Alyssa, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Noah,
the only problem with stained glass windows is that while they change your perception of something, it isn't always for the better. I guess I'm just not one to mask problems when they arise, so I choose to see everything in full light. But its ok. Thanks for your reply, always so kind
