We Share how could I not love you the armor you wear is a heart the consistency of linen and shows its naked self through all light where no darkness shall hide it words gush from vines as fine wine with the sweetest touch and the bitter bite of vinegar that sets my teeth on edge tears that fall from your eyes land upon my wrist blown in the wind where bells and chimes ring your name and the same blood that flows is cut from one vein that we share |
