Pearly Ghosts

History cooks the goose of yore
Mystery condescends the score
Decorating filigree
For all the new that is to be.

It is a rivers babbling brook
That sings a song of times unhook
And sends the wind to sigh and moan
The cries of memories overtone

But they are phantoms in the breeze
Things that wheeze and only tease
Spirits racing in the night
Animations candles light

Desires fly the flight of sail
Playing out the act of bail
Dancing in a sky of awe
Seeking out the evermore

Transcendence is a wily host
As misty as a pearly ghost
