In quiet seek
under willows sillhouette
comes the soft weeping       of tears,
releasing fears
            {shadows of yesterdays linger}

Thoughts flow like rain
down the weathered face
of the past

             {and I search blindly}
through the darkness of night
praying        for a light     to shine
         to lead the way
until the truth I find
and the feeling is not
that of the coldness of time
passing slowly through the
          winters of life.

I'm reaching farther than ever before,
but I still can't touch
               the memory of you.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...

Its sad how that which we wish to reach, we can't.
And that we want to forget, remains in our view forever...
But it is so nice to feel something outside of the cold.
