Indeed

my dreams drown
in the pools of

your eyes

and in your beauty
my wish

lies

Morning Mark..
while this is nice.. and sounds great when spoken.. pools of your eyes???
perhaps a more emotiional write for you than some... and the use of that phrase meant to convey admiration more than to be unique iin phrasing and imagery....

lol.. so shoot me bud... I do not care for this one... only because I have seen what you can do normally do with images and short verse...

Thanks KristieSue .

Hi Ron.  (smirking)  Yes, it is cliche on the surface, but you should know of the "trademark dualisms" of mine by now, eh?  As always, I leave the half-full, or half-empty up to my readers and reserve the deeper meanings for myself...   Thanks for the honesty, though -- know it is ALWAYS appreciated.

LOL.. the dualism is not lost... and the piece is not inneffective sir.. I know you could have accomplished the same with other images and stayed in the same vein...

as always... I enjoy reading your offerings... even if or when I might have personally liked to see the stretch in them which you normally apply to everything you write.

Pools aplenty, deep enough to find the fish.

Understood, Ron, and definitely no offense taken.   Maybe it's the "normally" and "everything" today that took a vacation...?  Stay tuned, though -- there'll be other offerings...

Dixie...  they're deeper than the Marianas Trench...  (and just as "dangerous"...)

Kaoru...  or something fishy...
