Spinnakers cast before my wide eyes
Charming direction of the whitest lies
As snowflakes wander the winter fire
Dancing to caves of a deepest desire

Lace pink the fabric upon my skin
These covenant wishes tapered so thin
In wisps of silk ribbons braided all through
Tangled my wrists wrapped in bows of subdue

Leaning my body in a tell tale tenderness
Left empty drawn, drama leaves again lender-less
As the snow of to know has dusted evenly
Caught in snare of truth stated repeatedly

Spun and set to the side, by the spell ever tied
Giving all of the sound, inspiration replied
Every story and sin sewn in needle and pin
Brought to light as the night left its calling again

"As snowflakes wander the winter fire"

A truly captivating write Kathleen. You write such wonderful lines that are truly mesmerizing has with it the essence of a seamstress sewing words together into a fine fabric that captivates the soul.
