School of the Fine Arts

Three dimensional canvases weild power to chase off a chill
Self-imposed silence, slid into a warm bath of chenille
Accurately aware of every nerve passage in the mass
Carried along sensory fibers, billions of communicating paths
Scenic neurons spiraling…linking against cool drafts
Eternity yawns, swallowing oblivion
My eyes snapped open, to a natural awareness
Like an endless sky in a dream without sound
A kindly healer known to everyone as God
Wielding an emotional sledgehammer for broken moods
Thick with the blood of those that blast optimistic tunes

Therein lives the tutoring, the cultural shock…
The great imbalance and nighthawks

Wine remembers nothing more then adopted sugars moot
It arranges a snapshot quite suggestively acute
Sharpened on sultry promises easily skinned
Splattering sonnets caught in a cross winds

Ode to the tag on my shoes
Surly given by true to life eyes of genes and parented virtue
Thank God for the gloves of an all consuming fire
For the doves which cross our lives and umpire

Therein softer pearlescente nature glows
Glimmering patience, quit a long-sustained peso
Their richness exceeds a poignancy reserved
Keeping them bonded by familiar mantras

The pew of morning, eddies love’s bonfire
Singing into gentle memory, a treasure of church choirs
Embellishing my heart, from sea to shore
Intimately even within a solo each so preciously performs

Therein voices peacefully time…impenetrable scents of sapphires

Adrift upon that sea, spays the Shepard’s voice
Oh, for the tides of their breath and voice
Their clarity and homage dwells in large estates
White sound seams through human heartstrings
Keeping them bonded, flooding the stars with lifetime meanings

Pleasant to the ear, their oncoming headlights draw me unthinkingly near
The discovery of unmistakable cordials sincere
Written with two very good friends/poets in mind.
God bless you both always

I know if you have ever seen Blazing Saddles but your skill and words could have wrote.

As I understand:

You woke up with a blinding hangover
Drank a cordial
And worried about
What you had done.

Your words are brilliant
Your expressions 'quietly taking the fun'

Your expression even without consider the meaning is immortal.

Yes I like your words;  I like your complete lack of 'I can't take the mickey'.

I liked your words.

Dave
