A Wall of Words

My paintings ply a wall of hope
As Fragile as an interlope
Some in dabbled hews of flight
And some in symbols black and white.

They fly within the Internet
And visions of the mind in set
Upon electrics magic beam
Feathered birds within a dream

And though I seem to fly a goal
It is a phantom of my soul
Carried on the wind of dust
Cresting in a breeze of crust

And by the code of one and aught
Within the enzyme we have wrought
Are the changes meant to be
Within our set of destiny

And in this tie of common core
Lies the door of evermore.

Smiling.  Ok, 'fess up.
Did you in your wildest dreams
when you were 25 [just yesterday]
truly believe you would ever see
the wonder of the Internet?

Thank you for this, m'friend.

Sy darling man I’m so rarely in the forums these days, or if I am, I’m in and out again very quickly. Still I had to stop by and read and reply to your wonderful poem, as always its excellent darling heart, I love it utterly, utterly, utterly.

You really are a fine writer and this is exceptionally good, wonderful YOU are a superb writer

There’s a poet some do read
Whose touch is hope’s truest seed
His words spread a ray of light
With magic hand he soothes my sight

And when I think life is dark
When my world turns coldly stark
He flashes across my mind
Like a whisper of hope’s anodyne

The touch that he writes here
Sends away the shame of fear
The dark recedes, fades away
And I return to see a bright new day

Love and warm stuff
Big hugs
Mushy

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

Seymour~
I once saw some of your paintings in the background of a photo posted when Elizabeth Santos and Pepper were visiting you and Isabel ... that IS a wall of GREAT hope~

You are a true artist~

Lovely are your words on this blustery day~

I would love to see your paintings... but I'm captivated enough by the pictures that include them that you and Isabel might want to make sure I never enter... for fear I won't leave. *G*

This is lovely, my friend. *S*
