Is this passion's fire,
or fever that burns within?
What's the difference!
Whether asleep or awake,
smoldering flames consume me.

YES!!!!!!   as molly says

Is this passion's fire,
or fever that burns within?
What's the difference!
Whether asleep or awake,
smoldering flames consume me.

there is no difference only degrees
of tormentation waiting to be released

I'm afraid I must confess that my dreams have been more interesting than my waking lately. *G* But I do know this! *S*

Excellent poem... welcome to Passions! *S*

The heat of desire to envelope the world in your words

Melt their hearts

ah, dont be consumed by passion...it leaves only ashes no longer able to hold the glow..instead, warm your self gently beside the flames as to revel in the heat with less fever but more depth

hi Paul, i hadnt seen this one before.
