Cancel drowsiness, sleep waits in the wings
effect changes on processes before the spring...
change to writes I note headed with bold epitaph
poetic walks are liberated from support staffs...

cancel the sleep but not the dream
bring the vapour to steady steam
set the water wheel in motion down the river road
set life processes into action with new found loads

induced thoughts about winter thaws, the ice that breaks
to feed dried up river beds, their mud base cakes
cancel sleep but not dreams
arise steep and holy steam...
away from winter's frozen means
signs of drowsiness wait for sleep to blanket
as poetic images tumble from malachite caskets

poetry embalms the corpse
preserves the body of course...

Martin, absolutely. Cancel the sleep but not the dream. And a warm dream too.

may the river carve the course,
let us laugh
we'll bathe the tide...
let us dance the dash of that
laughing in
white water lies...

ooooh...

grin. I'm ready.
nicework.

A fine write, with such fine mystiques. Layered very nicely. Thank you.
