Listening to every heart

There resides the glove,
in yellow age of fragile
holding fast to very old books
of long ago and far away.

In its touch, the glove seems to linger,
like a friend stroking a friend,
a strand of pearls
marrying inanimate memories.

Oh, simply descriptive!   MOre!!!!

Then,you had to go and put the wonderful picture with this!  I hope I don't confuse my memories with the image you've placed permanently in my head!

Seriously, I enjoyed this very much.  I'm flattered you used my piece as an inspiration.
