Listening to every heart

Do not feel the need
to send a photo
or show me
yesterday

If your words are true
if the song is still in you
if you feel the need
to unravel heed
where the tonal hits the heart
and the heart
talks to soul

hello, again, hello….

Do not worry, m’friend
on how you look
or your weight of age

for you were on the mark
and sparked the quark
of lifetimes evermore

I grew with you
you grew in me
you are evermore
in mind
tuning heartstrings

Did Neil Diamond die today?  Regardless, this is a beautiful tribute, Karilea.

PBS is running his show in Ireland....that's all.

He can't die...at least, I must go first!

His song, "Sweet Caroline" came out when I was a teen...a girlfriend from up the street ran down saying "he has a song for you!"  LOL...

She had heard "Karilea"....

I still smile when I hear that song!

Karilea, I love Neil Diamond, too. He
is among the top of my favorites, along with
Rod Stewart and Sting.

This is a very good tribute to him.

I think the best thing he did was...
Jonathon Livingston Seagull.
But then again...I love 'Stones'..and um, 'Play Me'.
Ooooh anything he sings really....and I feel as though I am blabbering now...
I think I love him.

Lovely, Kari - I'm a fan too... and of course, when I was a bartender/cocktail waitress (all those years ago) every year on my birthday the band would break out with "Sweet Caroline" and I would hide behind the bottles just dying of embarassment lol...

and ohhhh my goodness that song "Play Me"
jeeeeez I love that one.

My PBS station isn't running that show. I'm gonna complain hehehehe

Neil Diamond found a unique style to bring his sound to us.  I've always liked him and his timeless songs.  Thanks for keeping him in our thoughts.  KJ

I am not EVEN going to admit how many of his concerts I've attended... but I've been to more of his than the Moody Blues... and I've been to LOTS of MB concerts! LOL

I agree... he can't die before me... and he can't stop singing, either. *S*

Love this, lady... as you knew I would. *S*
