A Walk on the Toll Side

I walked the memory
in the full of the moon.
Its keepsake gripping my thoughts,
symbols to sense your presence.

I drew my bath, soaking my ages,
sharing the warmth,
my body yearning
for the he of we.

And that tree half standing,
unable to die natural
leaning towards
wanting the climb that never was
to be its last.

Nakedness before the moon
with only truth to bare
and moods to swing upon.

Bottled emotions, unvoiced
abandonment taking its toll,
and gravity
         pulling
              me
                 down.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

*perk*  "The he of we?"  Man - that is about as sensuous as it gets, Maureen.  Powerful!
