Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2004-01-08 01:45 AM

I glide silently
Eyes wary
Slowly
Focusing
Tall, sparce grass
Bending
Parting before me
No hatred exists
Only hunger
Survival
The driving need
Quietly
Urgently
Through the night
No more
The blinding flash
Ends the hunt
leaving me
Bleeding
Dying
Remembering
The last time
My eyes fade
Leaving the Ghost
In
The darkness

Sorry it took so long, karen... I hope it meets your challenge. /pip/Forum7/HTML/000602.html

Cause in my dreams it's always there
The evil face that twists my mind
And brings me to despair.

Powerful and moving, rhythmic... all of a sudden I was at the end in a very different place having left the "ghost behind" I like the distinction you make between "hatred" and "survival"...and your outcome.   ~choshi

HEY SWEETS!!!

I'd forgotten about this'n myself, and YES, this was what I was looking for!

I enjoyed looking at the hunt from this point of view (and it was nice to merely be an observer this time, too, giggle?)

Hugs, you.

Excellent work, ringodude!

(big angel hugs) Somehow I think chewing on the hunger is a nutrition all to itself, like overriding the appetite and then before you know it you made a great distance but nothing has changed! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I'm just going back "diving for pearls" that I missed while on vacation during the holidays, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Noah- Thanks for bringing this back to life. I had forgotten about it completely.

Lady In White- Thank you for the kind words.

Michelle- And you say that like it's a BAD thing??? Thanks always.

Gentle Spirit- Thanks for the kind words, however, you sell yourself very short.
