Though outside I'm smiling,
Inside my heart is crying.
Inside my soul is dying,
But outside I'm smiling.
Withered and fraying,
How to keep from decaying.
Though outside I'm smiling,
Inside my heart is crying.
Inside my soul is dying,
But outside I'm smiling.
These thoughts and reality I confuse,
I have everything in life to lose.
Though outside I'm smiling,
Inside my heart is crying.
Inside my soul is dying,
But outside I'm smiling.
Afraid to lose you hoping I never will,
Far away from you I love you still.
Though outside I'm smiling,
Inside my heart is crying.
Inside my soul is dying,
But outside I'm smiling.
Inside...
I'm dying.
