WITH HAND AND SOUL Hell on earth, heaven as well Skin of the human Reassurance that we’re connected And please touch my hand… My tears set in place so surely Do you notice divine emotion? I will smile with contentment And please touch my hand… Enamor my existence with pure ecstasy And heavenly hints of utopia I need to be part of your circle And please, I’m begging you— Please touch my soul! (hand) **************************************** I'm not sure about if my concept of the soul and hand being a link makes any sense to anyone else but it does to me. Sometimes the slightest touch of someone's hand against your own can cause an electric sensations so I just figure there has to be something to that! Anywho, please tell me what you guys think!  |

ah Alan,,,, the soul is not contained by the weak thing we call a body,,it eminates forth,,,,,covering us completely,,,,the touch of a hand,,,,whether it be to your own hand,,your cheek, or just brushing across your arm,,,,,,,if,,,,,,,the spark is there,,each touch will be soul deep, and ripple from core to the farthest reaches of the universe,,,,,, a lovely work,,,thank you Michelle I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |

Thanks for the great feedback. It made me actually understand my own poem a little more in depth. A hand can be a link to someone's soul and I guess that's why holding hands is something people do! |
