Mortals Clime

In my catacombs mental bones
I hear the chortle overtones
Echoing in scales of mime
Dancing to the bales of time

Whirling in the costumed day
Gloried moments dark and gay
Phantoms of an epitaph
Playing on my minds behalf

Striking me with arrows point
Tipped in sad and gay anoint
Drumming on my hearts repeat
Gushing every single beat.

It shakes me to the very core
Knocks and knocks upon my door
Forcing me to stay its dwell
This fantasy of heavens hell

And I am soaked in mortal clime
And drown within the drips enzyme.

I'm thinking about the genes I've received from my ancestors...all their knowledge...history, learned behavior...and I was somehow chosen to carry those genes on...and thats what your words inspired me to think about today...even though it may not have been your intent...Mr.  You've given me more reason to realize the great importance my life has had.  Many thanks and Good good mornin to ya.

Love and hugs...Lee J.

You devil!  You have a gift for words that I wish I could have for a day.  This poem is as perfect as your others.

Chuckling..."Nancy's tea..."
more like being brewed
in Randy's evening stew...

Good morning, Sy!

Good Lord ... those phantoms of an epitaph!  To express this so masterfully surely helps to come to terms ... of inner peace.

Love and hugs. Margherita
