One day I'll have to stop thinking of you.
Today is not that day,
tomorrow is not looking good.
I should kill these crazy feelings,
probably would if I could,
but here they stand, like there they stood.

Just when I begin to forget
the process seems to hard
and I let the net of regret fall over me,
yet again.

I bet I'll never quite be done with you,
never run from you,
[edited by Moderator] with thoughts of you
running through my fingertips.

Sounds fun, but when it's done,
and my eyes open to just me,
those thoughts turn to stone,
and dancing and drinking beat thinking
about not having you hear.
Do I even blink when thoughts of you appear?

Fear of falling to far due to the stars in my eyes. Wise beyond my years, I should know better,
go easier on myself,
I'm better off without you...keep telling myself.
but am I really?

Your words left me in a paradise,
took me to the high rise,
and my goodness, I'd never leave.

But then your actions brought me to a place,
where I had to face facts,
and I'm left to live on the words that you used
to dig me a shallow grave.

And I jump in without even a thought of
saving myself,
it's true.
One day I'll have to stop thinking of you.

Nice quality but dont ever restrict yourself.

The site will do that on language.

The rawness I loved

But then I came from some jungle.

Nice to have your words.

I particularly liked this part:

"But then your actions brought me to a place,
where I had to face facts,
and I'm left to live on the words that you used
to dig me a shallow grave.

And I jump in without even a thought of
saving myself,
it's true.

Well done and welcome to Passions.

You wish you could just make yourself stop thinking about everything, everything about them... but you can't.  No matter how hard you try, you can't.  And even when you do stop thinking about them, every decision you make, you think about how it will affect them.  And you never know if you should make yourself happy, or make them happy.

Wonderful.

Terrina,
I left you a message at my post hoping you'd stop back and read it.  The Professor pulled up and posted the poem I was referring.   It is now posted as Haiku on Frozen Beach.   (You had mentioned talent when you wrote to me.   I feel like you will see real talent when you read his posts.)
Have a great day.  Again, I enjoyed your first write.   You've got some talent there too!

saving myself,

One day I'll have to stop thinking of you.

Not even a thought,
falling into the abyss:
thought it was a well.

Great write/ right....Glad to meet you...~C
