(this is some of my older stuff. have pity on my soul) Heart Songs I’m running around in circles Trying to chase your love Breaking my heart into dust I scramble to collect the pieces I have to, I must To put them back in their place Where everything belongs The way I felt The way I loved The way I cried Before I was reminded of you In every beat And every word In all the love songs… “Oh I miss you baby come back into my arms You’re the only one for me I want to be with you until heaven Oh baby why can’t you just see?” …My heart beats like a poet But my actions are too afraid to speak My words are too distant to reach you But my love you’ll always keep I put myself together And get back to my feet I shake off the memories of you by my side I won’t let my mind say “When I’m with you I could die” Inside I’m cold But my heart’s intact That’s the way it was before But now I can’t go back |

Do the rewrite if you have the time. When I saw the title my heart sang. Ruthlessly cut; hit the inside of the message and sing it out. It is there - make it happen. Dave |
