Speaking to the trees
They answered back from a green leafy darkness
Where trees talk to men
Where fear need not exist
Every branch lay in movement
Remembering unfinished conversation
Pulling on wool socks and warm shirts
They become as we…life embraces like mittens
Whispering some good-byes
Descending from hidden places
And, after a long silence
I knew that a piece of my life was over

This poem speaks a lot of truth. I loved it.
