Wrecked again by the car of spirit ugliness,
But I have held the license for this, way too long
And perhaps the purple bruise has grown so old
That no salve will remove the boredom of its drudgery?
*
Conservative, your posture claims, yet of what?,
Is it still unfair conditioning that remains,
Or the history of four walls and wailing child
(The last one still dwells with us , but is grown)
Does this, your life's horizons, keep to close?
Or is it me that holds you back from pleasant dreams?
*
One fights for freedom, one is self constrained,
Regardless of an urging, to cut lose from the past.
And now you choose a  band-aid for infected-sores
Of forty years of cuts; you say its harmless
But I say it has, to lingering pain, contributed blindness
And the pus of anger seeps still from your wounds,
Blurring any vision of real purging;
Leaving me to bask, in the foul effluent that it casts.

A new one for me to see

(big hugggsssssss) This may sound a little extreme, but I can't help but feel conservatives care about their money more than they do others and do things only for their own personal gain! (sad sigh) A band-aid will not enclose the wounds in bleeding hearts and shattered souls, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ford, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

The writing was so original describing such a painful situation.  I was especially impressed with the above.
