Today

Today I saw the sunset
With it's brilliance in full view
Tonight I saw the moon shed a tear
It cast a cloud that touched the earth
I walked into this cloud
And let its droplets touch my skin
What I felt I can't explain
The experience is different
On another's skin
As I stood within the cloud
I looked up to the sky
Streaking across it I saw a shooting star
And wished upon it a dream for you
May the dreams you see ahead this year
I wish they all come true

"Everybody's lost
But they're pretending they're not
Lost"........Morrissey
