If you were not lucky enough to join our chat last night, let me tell you that you missed a grand time! We hope to do a chat more often and hope you will all join us. Meanwhile, let me share a poem with you that was inspired by the topics tossed out last evening.

The morning after the night before
I awoke just after dawn
After dreaming about a gaggle of poets
a Scotsman, a kilt and a prawn

Somewhere a bunny hops free
and deer run for cover at night
A gunshot rings out, it’s New Year’s Eve
and gives us all a fright

Home remedies were tossed about
Like moles and beer and ladybugs
That involved a running brother
and scooters driven by slugs

I tell you I didn’t have a drink!
I beg you, please know it!
Never chat on New Years Eve with
a Scotsman, a Wizard and a poet!

It sounds like this would have been so much fun. This is cool! Wish I could have been there, too!

And, the fact that we were all talking so
fast that our fingers got tangled...ahahahaha

It really was fun, wasn't it? It was the first
Chat Room, I've ever been in. And, Ron, I had
downloaded Chat to go to the one at Twisted/Serenitys
site, but couldn't find my way in there. LOL

*cackle* That was indeed a fun occasion, and it was indeed a priviledge to speak...or rather..type at so many wonderful people.

Until next,

sounds as if I missed a really grand time! Dog-gone-it!  But me and the missus, we sat the granddaughter, or she sat us - not sure which, and believe it or not, we were all alseep by 10pm! But that was recuperation sleep - we'd had several 30-hours days in a row.

Wish I'd been there...

I missed it.

Next year I think I'll forego the annual bonfires and fireworks here--sounds like THIS party was much more exciting--

Hugs all...and to PdV.

Karen, we kept expecting you to pop in, for some reason.

And hey, Karen, I've got my Chat downloaded now so maybe I can find the room to ASOTS next time. LOL

Given that my time zone is so freaky and I can NEVER work out the difference, not summer or winter, I wouldn't have made it anyway but I AM sorry I missed it. I love the way you turned a tangled conversation into this fine piece.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
