Color me taupe,
in a world of
grey cardboard,
the trees anorexic,
hangers, now coatless
in snows anticipation,
they'll revel like spinsters,
drunk with desire, though
tetthered and tired,

let me slip through
the forest, as a leaf
on a sojourn,
on eterntity's corridor
down a midstream,
unchartered,
these seasons have
worn me,
i am jaundiced with
january, this earth
is just wrteched,
and i'm drawn to
your calling,
deliver me
unscathed again,
detached from
my karma

beautiful!

turning mirrors upside down won't make dust fall off the ground, hiding wounds won't ease the pain, sleep won't make you whole again...

I am finding replying to this quite difficult.

I am starting to write words I would write and finding that talent has beaten me to the words.

Wake
Cloudbursts singing beauty
Gentle branches
Say sit
I have waited for you
Leaves considered themselves
Fulfilled
To begin a gentle movement
Swirling
Hear music
Changing briefly an idea
Returning me
To things I dont understand
on eterntity's corridor
down a midstream,
unchartered,
these seasons have
worn me,
i am jaundiced with
january, this earth
is just wretched,
and i'm drawn to
your calling,
deliver me
unscathed again,
detached from
my karma

Karma is something for everyone.
It has no end and just an idea of understanding.

thanks for reading
dave, i think the poet wants to attain nirvana and finally detach from the karma that has burdened her, something like that
