A Canadian’s Prayer

I’ll ask you a question if I may be so bold;
God, if You love me, why is it cold?
Why does the temperature drop so low?
Why does the radio forecast snow?
Miracles were worked at the touch of Your hand;
Can You not heat this frozen land?
And for when You grant me eternal rest,
If Heaven isn’t warm enough, Hell would be best.

eminor...this gave me a smile...I hate the cold..that's why I live in southern California.  My advice to you is a fireplace and a chair.  Happy New Year!

LOL, since I lived in the interior of Alaska and endured sub zero temps for 6 winters, this one makes me grin in understanding.
Would it help if I drank a hot apple cider for you today? Cheers, and Happy New Year's to you.

LOL...That's why we Canadians move to California.  I was back home for about a week in October... average temp was about 68.  Which is what it currently is here in So. Cal.  All in all, it works for me.  Good luck on staying warm.

Move to Ontario.....you never know from one minute to the next what it will do. To-day was more like spring than winter. Happy New Year to you and yours, Chris
