Buried Treasure

Locked in a trunk at the bottom of the sea
The torment will leave me alone
Your precious touch can’t swim
Your gorgeous words can’t dive

Alone at the bottom
With my thoughts by my side
Your clear blue eyes can’t see me
Your mouth can’t kiss me while I hide

My eyes will wander my new home
And I’ll cry to feel whole inside
Your alluring smile won’t catch me
Your memory will leave my mind

Tears will mix with the salty water
And no one will miss a drop
Your mind can disregard me now
Your clumsy heart will never have to stop

Mother Nature will stare at me
Knowing I lost the truest love
Your music can’t sooth my soul anymore
Your ghost will finally be done

It is too easy to say words.

On poetry:

Review your words

On life:

I wish you the best.
