A Traitor, a True Benedict

It really is so very strange.
I thought things were going to be celebrated,
And things for us were going to rearrange.
But, as usual, my feelings are so underrated
I don't say this, or I do say that, all over again I'm hated?

A traitor, a true benedict
being nice to me, to only be tricked.
How do you do it? How can you be that?
Why do I have to watch each little word I say?
Why is it if I'm not perfect you act like a spoiled brat?

You can't understand when there has been hurt,
hurts, and scars will come out, and need to heal?
So it's okay for you to damage, and harm?
To think they will go away overnight; how is that real?
It's all just supposed to go away, because of your charm?

Well hearts don't work that way
It does matter what you do, or say!!!
You can't just trash a soul
Leave them crushed, and unwhole.

Sooner, or later it does kill
When feelings are crushed,
and wished ill-will.
All good inside you wished to steal

No heart can do that forever
your tricks, and cruelties,
you think are so clever
dash a persons hopes, all they endeavor.

No thank you I should have known
It was a trick your usual cruelty shown
Come back some day when you can take responsiblity
and you are grown.

I didn't do anything for you to leave me alone.
I didn't deserve your cruel, cold heart.
Show me a person that's not made of stone!
Then we can try to make a brand new start!

Yes, Shara, you could try to make a new start, but why would you?  You have more to offer than this person deserves.

yes, a new beginning,,for YOU,,,find the true love that awaits you, and that you can trust in,,and feel whole and safe,,,,,leave this past behind,,and use what you've learned, to avoid the pain again,,,
be good to you
Michelle

I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike

Thank you to both of you. Believe me I'm NOT the one to be pitied. Not by far. Save that for the ones that think it's ok to treat a person this way, and can sleep at night with no remorse.

God Bless,
Terri~
