We've all said it
"I'd give anything...if..."
Never thinking,,,we may be called on it...
If the time came,,,to help another,,,,
would you?,,,
turn your back, even on your brother?
If you had the time to spend,,,
should you?,,,,,
Words tossed so easily,,,,
So sure they fall on deaf ears...
When my father passed,,,I said those words...
wishing he could hear,,,
In my heart I wished,,,,but
In my mind I knew,,,
if I'd have given the time,,,
before,,,,
What would I give?
To see him one more time? Hear a joke,,,
smell his cigar ,,,
easily..I say anything if,,,,
I would,,,,,
the should,,,,,,is
I missed it when it was there....

I said to my brother "one day you will arrive here and not want anything".

It was 6 years before be asked again.

People are people not relations.

We all help but no-one has the right to live off someone else for ever, or treat them as a sponge.

We'll all help family as and when we can.
