Here we are, a word I see in occasional use
beware it could eventually fall into disuse
or lose some of its elegant touch, become cliche
as poet hunt for similar words on scribed trays..

The word is used to take the place of fine thread
poets would rather use the word gossamer instead
wonder how many use the word to say what it means
rare words are oft used just to express our dreams...

Don't get me wrong, I've used rare words time and again
to shed new light on old discourses now and then
to describe the thread of a spider's web, perhaps
or relate to readers some forgotten social mishap.

Something to do also with thin fabric used in veils
it denotes thin air born film, can't you tell?
here we are a word I see in occasional use
that can become cliche, and fall into disuse...

Wonderful cadence to your work.
I must think that although I see the danger you discuss, so could fire, water, love and light...
All the musical baseline of the emotion and poetry of life.  Somehow the talent of the author, the depth of the content, and the wings refresh the feeling that never grows old.
Wonderful write.

Now I understand why you chose your alias.  You really are talented with words.
