To ascertain I turn the treadmill of a style To ascertain a frown or smile To look into the peak of hew The color that is true of you You are my mystery in the mist Locked within my mind or cist Ever present yet unreal Held within my vex and feel You are the base of dreams I know You are the emblem of the glow The presence of a spirits place That haunts me in my mental space The rabbit of the greyhounds chase A rabbit of forever’s grace A rabbit that will not slow down Hence the furrows of the frown But I will run eternity For just the thought of ecstasy |
