I posted a joke here the other day that was off the internet and I apologize to Lauren for having to remove it. She is such a sweetheart and she was so nice about it.

I assure you that the following is all mine. Written this afternoon......Tis the holidays and I thought a nice love song might just be in order.

I feel so fine when you say that you're mine
my heart beats proud in my chest
I like to hear all the things you hold dear
when you talk bout how we been blessed
How many times did we say we'd always be
faithful and true til the end
n We've stayed together through all kinds of weather
I just have to say once again

Chorus:
You faced the music and danced
You took a chance on me and romance
I"ve always done my best to give you respect
so you'd understand
You're the woman that makes me a man

You turn up the heat it's too hot for me
you smile when I take off my shirt
Then you move closer put your head on my shoulder
n I feel like a haven of worth
As the years passed by we've grown side by side
and sometimes we fought to a truce
But in the end when I needed a friend
It was always me looking for you.

Chorus:
You faced the music and danced
You took a chance on me and romance
I've always done my best to give you respect
So you'd understand
You're the woman that makes me a man.

Now the kids have all grown got homes of their own
and we're left to winter our time
I still look at you and in your eyes so blue
I see a love light that never dies
And it's easy to tell that you know me so well
I'm left with nothing to prove
So we wine and dine n reminisce old times
while I get to keep on loving you.

Chorus:
You faced the music and danced
You took a chance on me and romance
I've always done my best to give you respect
So you"d understand
You're the woman that makes me a man.

Ain't doin nothin at all
Just answerin the call
Kinda driftin away from it all~~~~~

But in the end when I needed a friend
It was always me looking for you.

That's so nice!
Sounds like you both have what it takes,
and most of us know, it takes a lot!
I do love your rhythm and the songs that you sing.  Thank you.

Happy New Year to you and those you hold dear, ethome~

Okay you!  You know I want to "hear" this one?  Is it hiding somewhere to be listened to?  Happy New Year to you both by the way, and I consider myself blessed having met you.  Loved this, just loved it!
