The leaves lay brittled and scriptured

Upon a moonlit paradise they befall;

A midnight sonata in which they gleefully sway

Before the viewing of a moonlight shimmering cascade;

Under the weathered willows in which they pray

To the majestic stars from whence they came.

Ok RWV...
I am inspired now...
The moonlight here just blew a kiss to velvet night.
Nice.
Where have you been hiding this art?

Willows...dancing in moonlights sway...underneath the stars...

words that I could paint paintings of...

thanks for allowing me to dance with the willows....

Another poem, poetically turned.
One of my favorite sonatas...
you have captured its delicate sound
very well.

Upon a moonlit paradise
where all dreams rest their want
swaying to the movements
of the willow's branches
beneath a shimmering sky... music indeed.

Well, a new poet with depth-- I like the way you think and I like your voice. Good stuff here.
